We’re looking for a hands-on engineering manager to join our "Core" team, which is responsible for building Monzo's core platform and payment systems. As the lead of the team, you will:

  • work closely alongside our Head of Engineering to define the team's roadmap
  • manage and iterate upon the team's process (stand-ups, planning meetings, retrospectives, etc.)
  • coordinate with teams across the company to migrate 200,000+ prepaid Beta cards onto our new banking platform
  • conduct regular 1:1's with every member of your team to give and receive feedback
  • manage and ensure the whole team is engaged with the team's project management tool (JIRA)
  • triage, prioritise and track bugs and feature requests

You’ll be defining the way millions of people interact with their finances on a daily basis and will be directly influencing the future of fintech.
